Locking Pliers
Locking pliers clamp down on your workpiece and hold it securely, allowing you to let go or adjust your grip on the tool without releasing the workpiece. Locking pliers are especially useful for stripped nuts, bolts, or screws that cannot be removed with a wrench or screw. A locking pliers can even be used as a leverage point for prying loose a stubborn nail.
Safety Tips
Do not use locking pliers in place of clamps. Locking pliers are NOT recommended as a substitute for clamps, due to their small and serrated gripping surface.
